Chez Nadine is a haven of peace and tranquility in the heart of the French Périgord. A retreat that feels like your own best-kept secret.

The House

Le Colombet

Built in the 16th century, the picturesque cluster of old stone buildings is nestled peacefully on the side of a hill above walnut plantations and truffle forests.

It is a haven of tranquility and poetry – surrounded by idyllic villages and calming natural landscapes.

There is a light breeze at all times. In spring and summer fragrant herbs and lavender blossom along the hedgerows. The autumn brings a sea of golden colours, aromatic ceps and warm walnut tarts while winter is the time of earthy black truffles and roaring fires.

Living History

Respectful renovation helped to reveal the ancient structures of the old buildings and combined them elegantly with contemporary elements.

Cooling natural stone, romantic windows overlooking the grounds, Little Greene paint… Interiors and materials are inspired by nature and create a transition to the natural elements that is both stylish and deeply comforting.

A perfect liason of living history and modern luxury.

The Grounds

Le colombet is located on 7 hectares of formally tended gardens and grounds. It is a fest of warm colors and soft fragrances.

A wonderfully warm atmosphere pervades the garden. Forest walks, sheltered sitting areas, swimming pool, romantic flower beds, vegetable and herb garden are just some areas to explore.

Embedded in one of Europe’s oldest landscapes, this is the perfect place to deeply immerse yourself into the beauty of the region, to listing to the soft humming of wild bees or to simply while away time by the side of the pool all the while enjoying the magnificent views.
